Johnston Memorial Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Center's construction site is located between exits 19 and 22 off of Interstate 81. The entranceway to the property is located just off Lee Highway (across the street from the Department of Motor Vehicles). The building will occupy around 5 acres of a 42 acre land parcel owned by JMH. The center will sit on top of the hill and look out onto the beautiful mountains of Southwest Virginia. In addition, the cancer center will be highly visible to motorists on Interstate 81 just beyond Abingdon's town limits.
