Carolyn "Hope" Ratliff

 3 months in JMH Clinics, then for the past 8.5 years in Blood Bank as an apheresis nurse.  "I enjoy working with all my donors, and over the years have come to feel that they are like an extended family. For everyone who can take time out of their busy schedule to come every 56 days to donate, is truly an act of generosity and kindness".

 

Pamela "Pam" A. Byington

20 years in CCU before transferring to Blood Bank in

2005. "It is very rewarding for me to work closely with donors and to know the blood that is donated from our community saves lives every day".

 

Linda G. Ballard

10 years in the Operating Room, then 3 years in OB working on the Womens Pavillion before tranferring to the Blood Bank in early 2006.  " It has been very enjoyable and rewarding to meet our wonderful and very giving group of donors. Their selflessness benifits everyone".

 

Dexter D. Tenney, Donor Services Supervisor

20 years in hospitality and 3 years with American Red

Cross before joining JMH Blood Team as Recruiter in 2006.  " I love donors, talking about blood, teaching about blood. The thrill I get when signing up a new donor is the best feeling in the world!".

 

Doug Cline and Ken Kestner

Both Doug and Ken are an invaluable part of the Blood Bank Team. Transportation Services and Multi-Unit Assistant's, they ensure blood is transported to where it is needed and also ensure we safely arrive at our Blood Drive destinations by driving the new Blood Mobile.

 

Rebecca Fields

Nine years at Buchanan General, 4 as a lab technologist and 5 as blood bank supervisor. Rebecca joined JMH in April, 2007 a our Laboratory Specialist involved in all aspects of lab processing and donor room procedures. "I love bloodbanking and find it challenging. I like working with the donors and actually putting a face to a blood type. Donors are not just numbers, they are everyday heros who help save lives."
